“Resume Goddess” is selling a six year old law degree on eBay, never used, from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. She tells NetNet that loans from the third tier law school have “ruined” her life.The price for this wonderful piece of paper? $200k starting bid. Looks like someone was looking for return on her investment!
I can't get the actual eBay auction to load. It's probably been taken down, since eBay values the integrity of its system and all, but at least it made it to CNBC.
I ripped mine up when I finally realized the debt had grown to a point where it was completely out of reach.

I am seriously going to list my degrees and law license. Either that or burn them!
ReplyDeleteI had a full-tuition scholarship to attend Third Tier Drake. My wife worked full-time, but did not make much. I worked during the summers. We were frugal, and lived in cheap-ass Des Moines, Iowa. That said, I incurred an additional $37K in student loans for law school.
ReplyDeleteI would gladly sell my law degree for a mere $10K to $15K - which I would then IMMEDIATELY put down on my student loans.
